Paramount Group Amenity space
City: New York City
Year: 2024
Scale: 1,200 sq ft
In the heart of Manhattan’s busy Midtown, this amenity space offers a submerged, peaceful retreat from the city above. Luxurious wall treatments and refined furniture finishes establish an elevated architectural backdrop, while the landscape introduces softness, balance, and ease throughout the environment.
Anchoring the space are custom-fabricated faux trees reaching 12, 18, and 24 feet in height, with an intermingling canopy that expands organically between forms to create a natural, immersive presence. Each tree was deliberately fabricated to engage with the abundant natural light filtering down from above, enhancing depth, movement, and realism as the light shifts throughout the day.
A thoughtfully curated mix of live and faux plantings surrounds the trees, adding volume and texture while enhancing the overall habitat experience. This hybrid approach allows for longevity without sacrificing authenticity, resulting in a dynamic, light-responsive landscape that feels grounded, lush, and serene—transforming the amenity space into a calming sanctuary within the urban core.
